What’s the best current video games?!?!? Make your arguments and compete here!

To be clear. I am one hundred percent biased and I am also one hundred percent subjectively correct. Come fight me. Add your stupid rival text. Here is my list.

Yeah, yeah, I know. No you shut up. No you are wrong. I am right. You are wrong.

I love AOE. I have always loved AOE. And the newest version is wonderful. Each civilization has very different game mechanics and requires different strategies. The game feels smooth, the mods are great, and the community... well goddam you have to watch this Australian youtuber.

I TOLD YOU I WAS BIASED. Sometimes I just want a game with atmosphere and beauty... and well Hollow Knight... It is beautiful. Gorgeous. An art piece. I can get lost in its environment and feel pure bliss... Its also a 2d side scroller (like super Mario) but souls like (like elden ring!) and with an open world metroidvania style map. Yeah old school gameplay, but oh, oh, oh, so well done.

Goddam this game is a breath of fresh air. It feels like nothing before it. It merges open world gameplay with dark souls grit. Can’t recommend it enough. Personally though, I find the UI and certain mechanics wayyy over complicated. (Why the hell are there 12 different types of smithing stones?!)
