Ok I will say it. AOE4 is my favorite game. I love the many strategies, the fast-paced tactical multi-tasking, and most of all the insane nomad battles. Honestly, I was done with gaming… but AOE4 brought me back. RTS finally has a new hero! Here we discuss all things age. So, let's be clear, any feedback and suggestions are given with love.

New Civs
Looks like we are getting Japan and the Byzantines!
Of course, I want new civs. Everybody wants new civs! Personally, I want Vikings and Japan (Aztecs would be cool too!). But honestly any new civs would be great. If you are doing new civs here are some ideas for Vikings and Japan.

New variants of old civs:
Berserkers - Men at arm equivalent, faster and with an ability that increases damage delt for a period of time.

Each age up at the house of wisdom gives you other choices. For example, when you go trade wing, you can get various beneficial neutral trades.
New desert raider camel unit.
New religious unit on camel back.
Huskarl - spear equivelant perhaps stronger?
Ships with the portage ability - the ability to pack ships up and move ships over land.
Druid - priest equivalent (ok this is crazy buttttttt…) can create stealth forests.
Viking longship - carrys units, units have a speed buff after leaving the ship.
I don’t know how I feel about these. Ok I am excited, but how the hell are they going to balance these?
I imagine this civ as a hit and run infantry civ, that is very strong early game.
Japan
Samurai (obviously) - men at arm equivalent with high attack speed and damage.
ninja - Stealth unit, first hit high damage but then pretty weak? Used mainly to kill vils.
Movable walls units - Japan used movable walls in combat… how cool could that be! protect your flanks from cavalry attacks, quickly change the terrain to you advantage. I think there would have to be a limit to how many of these units you could make.
Big fishing bonus?? transportable fish like the Rus?
I imagine this Civ as well rounded eco and military Civ with some sneaky tactics.
Balance Changes
I am not sure what the best options are here. I just think people need to stop picking English and only English lol. I am a Malian main sooooo… yeah just buff them up in every possible way. (Give Malians elephants and camels!!! don't you know your history? MORE MALIAN UNITS)
Also change the names. (Ayyubid is a cool name, but the others really don’t fit.)
If we are being serious, I think the Devs do a really good job of this. I trust that they will keep iterating in the right direction. Mistakes will be made but honestly its a really complex game so who can complain.
